COLORADO SPRINGS — Around town today, why not relax and cool off with a few beers? Colorado Springs' largest beer festival is back in town. The 13th annual springs beer fest will feature 40 breweries, food vendors and live music at America the Beautiful Park. And this year is a special celebration of a local brewery.

"This year at Springs beer fest we are also helping Bristol celebrate their 25th anniversary, so they will have a larger presence at the festival this year. They will have 3 tents and they are bringing a few beers that you won't be able to get anywhere else but the springs beer fest. and we have a lot of really great offerings from our other brewing partners" says Katherine Mills, the program and events manager for Craftworks Foundation.

The cost is $40 at the door or $50 for early access. Doors open at noon for early access and the regular hours run from 1 to 4 pm. The ticket price gets you unlimited tastings all day. This is an age 21 plus event only. Proceeds from this event go to the Craftworks Foundation, serving our local communities.
