The Pueblo West baseball team will have to wait to defend their Class 4A state championship.
However, Cyclones head coach Dan Sanchez, along with key infielders Kolby King and Austin Radoievici, took time Wednesday to show players how they can stay in the game even away from the diamond.
The trio worked on drills such as long toss, fielding ground balls and ways to improve your hand-eye coordination without practicing with a team or playing in a game.
While there is a "stay at home" order in place throughout Colorado, the backyard and basement are two great places to work on these various skills.
CHSAA has currently suspended the spring sports season through April 18th in cooperation with the state-mandated policies issued to slow the outbreak of COVID-19.
