In Class 2A boys basketball showdowns, No. 6 Fowler hung tough but fell to No. 3 Yuma, 55-51.
On the other side of the bracket, No. 7 Peyton battled for 32 minutes before falling to No. 2 Limon, 43-34.
Seeing their season come to an end in the Round of 8, the No. 6 Rye girls basketball team dropped their showdown with No. 3 Sanford, 46-31.
