Winds calm down tonight and temperatures become chilly

Tonight's Forecast:
Most of the warnings for wind and fire danger will expire at 9 pm, leaving the night much calmer. Winds will decrease quickly after the sun goes down and temperatures will be cold overnight after today's windy cold front.

Monday afternoon a RED FLAG WARNING is in effect from noon until 6 pm for CENTRAL MOUNTAINS, EL PASO, FREMONT, TELLER, KIOWA, PROWERS AND BACA COUNTIES.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low: 35; High: 73. Red Flag Warning. Still dry with wind gusts up to 35 mph.

PUEBLO: Low: 36; High: 78. Chilly start and a warm breezy afternoon.

CANON CITY: Low: 37; High: 76. Red Flag Warning. Still dry with wind gusts up to 35 mph.

WOODLAND PARK: Low: 31; High: 64. Red Flag Warning. Still dry with wind gusts up to 35 mph.

TRI-LAKES: Low: 30s; High: 60s. Red Flag Warning. Still dry with wind gusts up to 35 mph.

PLAINS: Low: 30s; High: 70s. Red Flag Warning. Still dry with wind gusts up to 30 mph.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low: 30s; High: 70s. Low 70s tomorrow with breezy winds.

Extended Outlook:
Temperatures warm each day next week through Wednesday. The next cold front arrives Wednesday night which will bring chilly temperatures in the 50s and 60s for the end of the week.
