TRI-LAKES: High: 30s; Low: 10s. Cold and windy today for northern El Paso County. It's possible that the north wind generates a few snow flurries this afternoon. Otherwise, we're looking at dry skies for your Monday.

PLAINS: High: 40s; Low: 10s/20s. A much colder start to the week across the Plains courtesy of an early morning cold front. Dry skies through tonight, with overnight lows dropping down to the 10s and 20s.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 40s; Low: 10s/20s. Temperatures today will be much colder than yesterday and well below average. Lows tonight drop all the way down to the 10s and 20.

Extended Outlook: Tuesday morning will be quite cold across Southern Colorado. Once the sun comes out on Tuesday, highs will wary by a good 5 to 10 degrees. Further warming is expected on Wednesday, with highs returning to the 40s and 50s. Dry and seasonably mild weather will continue through the end of the week before our next chance for snow returns this weekend.
