It is likely to remain dry in the plains this evening with high clouds staying put. A few mountain rain showers persist through 10 pm. Temperatures will be mild and summer-like overnight.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low: 60; High: 89. High clouds and warm temperatures Thursday. Staying mostly dry with an isolated evening rain shower possible.

PUEBLO: Low: 63; High: 96. Very warm with high clouds Thursday and likely staying dry.

CANON CITY: Low: 65; High: 92. Warm with clouds on Thursday with an isolated thunderstorm possible in the afternoon.

WOODLAND PARK: Low: 53; High: 80. A nice day is expected Thursday with warm weather and spotty afternoon showers or thunderstorms.

TRI-LAKES: Low: 50s; High: 80s. Expect highs on Thursday in the low to mid-80s with high clouds. An isolated evening rain shower is possible.

PLAINS: Low: 60s; High: 90s. Hot in the mid to upper 90s on Thursday with mostly sunny. A few thunderstorms are possible favoring Las Animas county and Baca county.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low: 60s; High: 80s. Highs in the upper 80s expected Thursday with high clouds. A few spotty showers are possible in the afternoon.

Extended Outlook:
Looking to the end of the week and the weekend, rain showers are most likely in the mountains, with isolated storms making it into the plains. Temperatures will stay warm and just slightly above normal.
