Warm weather ahead for the weekend in southern Colorado

Tonight's Forecast: Staying clear and chilly tonight, dropping to the 20s for most of southern Colorado. The winds remain light tonight.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low: 25; High: 60. Breezy and sunny all day Saturday, with warm temperatures.

PUEBLO: Low: 22; High: 64. Sunshine and a breeze tomorrow. Very warm in the afternoon.

CANON CITY: Low: 30; High: 62. Breezy and sunny on Saturday, with warm temperatures.

WOODLAND PARK: Low: 22; High: 52. A chilly start and a very comfortable afternoon. Winds will be breezy.

TRI-LAKES: Low: 20s; High: 50s. Chilly in the morning with a breezy and mild afternoon in the upper 50s.

PLAINS: Low: 20s; High: 50s/60s. Nice Saturday ahead with upper 50s and low 60s and a slight breeze.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low: 20s; High: 60s. Quite breezy tomorrow, but that helps lead to highs in the low to mid 60s.

Extended Outlook: The next storm system arrives Sunday into Monday. The mountains will receive several inches of snow on Sunday, favoring areas west of the Continental Divide. The I-25 corridor and front range will be much cooler on Monday and experience increased cloud cover. Precipitation, mostly in the form of snow is possible in southern Colorado on Monday with very minimal accumulations.
