Tonight's Forecast: Above average temperatures will continue tonight under mostly clear to partly cloudy skies. The wind will be light, except across the mountains, where gusts to 35 mph will be possible.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low: 47; High: 73. A passing cold front will bring gusty northerly winds to the forecast on Tuesday, along with a slight drop in temperatures.

PUEBLO: Low: 49; High: 81. Mostly sunny, warm and dry on Tuesday. Highs will warm into the 80s, with strong afternoon breezes.

CANON CITY: Low: 51; High: 80. Tuesday will be a bright, warm and windy day. Highs will be more than 10 degrees above average for this time of the year.

WOODLAND PARK: Low: 40; High: 66. Tuesday's forecast will be bright and beautiful across Teller County. Wind will be the big story, with gusty northwest winds during the day.

TRI-LAKES: Low: 40s; High: 60s. Mild highs and dry skies on Tuesday, with gusty north winds expected during the afternoon hours.

PLAINS: Low: 40s/50s; High: 70s/80s. Warm and windy on Tuesday across the Plains, with near critical fire weather conditions possible.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low: 40s; High: 70s. Tuesday's shaping up to be a beautiful spring day across the southern border. The afternoon hours will be warm and gusty.

Extended Outlook: Sunshine and dry skies will continue on Wednesday, with temperatures on par with Tuesday's highs. Late this week comes a big change in the form of our first heat wave of 2020. Temperatures will surge into the 80s and 90s across the lower elevations, with highs topping out in the 70s for our beautiful Southern Colorado mountain towns. The weekend will still be very warm, especially Saturday, with storms possible each afternoon.
