Snow showers linger in southern Colorado overnight, moving south over time. Watch for heavy, narrow snow bands that will cause hazardous travel conditions. Temperatures will drop to the teens and 20s overnight.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low: 19; High: 48. Clearing Friday with sunshine, but staying cold.

PUEBLO: Low: 22; High: 53. Staying much cooler than average, but clearing Friday.

CANON CITY: Low: 23; High: 51. Snow chances linger through early morning. Cold and sunny Friday afternoon.

WOODLAND PARK: Low: 12; High: 41. Very cold still on Friday, but becoming sunny.

TRI-LAKES: Low: teens; High: 40s. Chilly but clear Friday ahead.

PLAINS: Low: 20s; High: 50s. Lingering light snow through the early morning. Clearing and cool tomorrow afternoon.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low: 20s; High: 50s. Light to moderate snow arrives tonight. Clearing Friday afternoon.

Extended Outlook:
This weekend is still trending below average, but warmer to the 50s and 60s. Isolated showers (snow in the mountains and rain in the plains) are possible each day. Warmer temperatures return next week, with 60s and 70s likely,
