Unsettled on Monday with rain and snow showers

Tonight's Forecast: Most of Southern Colorado will see cloudy skies tonight, with only a slight chance of mountain snow and lower elevation rain showers. The best chances for precipitation locally tonight will be in the mountains of Fremont and Teller counties.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low: 32; High: 55. Unsettled weather on Monday across the Pikes Peak Region, with scattered rain showers and gusty north winds.

PUEBLO: Low: 32; High: 62. Monday will be a partly to mostly cloudy day, with scattered rain showers developing during the afternoon hours.

CANON CITY: Low: 33; High: 60. Mild and unsettled on Monday, with scattered rain showers possible for the afternoon and evening hours.

WOODLAND PARK: Low: 25; High: 47. Scattered rain and snow showers on Monday for the Teller County high country, with little to no accumulation expected.

TRI-LAKES: Low: 20s; High: 40s. Monday's weather will be unsettled, with scattered rain showers on tap through the evening hours. Some snow could mix in at times.

PLAINS: Low: 30s; High: 60s. Dry morning skies will give way to scattered afternoon showers and isolated thunderstorms. Some storms could be strong for eastern parts of the state.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low: 20s/30s; High: 50s/60s. Mostly sunny in the morning. Mostly cloudy by the afternoon, with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms possible.

Extended Outlook: Dry skies return for both Tuesday and Wednesday, with a nice and healthy warm-up on the way through the middle of the week. A cold front dropping south out of the northern Rockies could bring a few snow showers to the mountains Wednesday night. Better chances for rain and snow return to most of Southern Colorado late Thursday, and will remain in the forecast through at least Friday evening.
