Tonight’s Forecast: We will stay mild and clear tonight, dropping to the 50s and 60s in the front range and Plains, 40s and 50s in the mountains. Hot summer weather is expected again on Thursday. We could again be talking about daily record highs. The record in Colorado Springs tomorrow is 93° and it's 102° in Pueblo. We will get pretty close to those, which puts just how hot we are in perspective.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low: 56; High: 93. Colorado Springs will be the closest to beating it's previous record tomorrow. For now, the forecast is to tie it up. The sky will be sunny in the morning with a few afternoon clouds.

PUEBLO: Low: 57; High: 100. Hot in Pueblo, unfortunately getting up to 100° again. This won't beat the record but we will get precariously close. A few afternoon clouds will provide some nice shade.

CANON CITY: Low: 59; High: 98. Another very warm day for the uppe Arkansas, to 98 in Canon City. The sky will be partly cloudy in the afternoon, but should stay dry.

WOODLAND PARK: Low: 49; High: 82. Very warm in Teller county tomorrow, to the low 80s in Woodland Park. The sky will stay clear in the morning with a few afternoon clouds.

TRI-LAKES: Low: 50s; High: 80s. Tomorrow will be quite warm for the Tri-lakes, to the upper 80s. The sky will be sunny in the morning with a few afternoon clouds.

PLAINS: Low: 50s/60s; High: 90s/100s. Hot in the Plains tomorrow, to near or just at 100 along the Arkansas. Elsewhere, highs will reach the upper 90s.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low: 50s; High: 80s/90s. Very warm tomorrow to the upper 80s in Walsenburg to the low 90s for Trinidad. The sky will be mostly sunny to partly cloudy.

Extended Outlook: Friday brings some relief to the heat as temperatures dip back to seasonable, but still warm in the 80s and 90s. There is a good chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon Friday. For Labor Day weekend, Saturday will be seasonable and the "cooler" day of the weekend with a few afternoon showers. Sunday gets a bit warmer and a bit sunnier. Then for Labor Day the temperatures peak again to the 90s for many with a lot of sun. Stay safe in the heat and limit your time outside during peak temperatures if you can.
