The snow melt continues on Sunday with warming temperatures

Tonight’s Forecast: Warmer temperatures on Saturday, with some nice snow melt taking place across Southern Colorado. Tonight's temperatures will be cold once again, with widespread 10s and 20s, and mostly clear skies.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low: 26; High: 59. The warm-up continues on Sunday. Sub-freezing morning temperatures will give way to above average temperatures for the first time since last weekend.

PUEBLO: Low: 22; High: 61. Bundle up in the morning, but then shed those extra layers in the afternoon, with highs climbing into the lower 60s. West winds up to 10 mph.

CANON CITY: Low: 32; High: 61. Mostly sunny skies and mild daytime highs will bring us a spectacular Sunday as the snow melt looks to continue.

WOODLAND PARK: Low: 24; High: 52. Below freezing temperatures early Sunday will give way to a bright and mild afternoon. More like it for early November!

TRI-LAKES: Low: 20s; High: 50s. Sun and clouds mixed, with warmer temperatures to wrap up the weekend. Morning lows still below freezing.

PLAINS: Low: 10s/20s; High: 50s/60s. A fantastic first Sunday of November in southeastern Colorado. Highs will warm into the 60s in La Junta, Lamar and Springfield.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low: 20s; High: 50s/60s. Following a cold start to our Sunday, the afternoon hours will be bright and mild.

Extended Outlook: After a warming trend this weekend, temperatures will drop a good 5 to 10 degrees on Monday. A dry cold front that brings the cooler weather also increases the wind early next week. The cooling trend reverses on Tuesday, with generally dry conditions this upcoming week and near seasonal temperatures.
