Today will be warm, but not too far above average. The plains will likely stay dry. A better chance of showers remains in the mountains today, staying spotty in general. A couple of storms will near the I-25 corridor this evening.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 89; Low: 57. Staying mostly dry and sunny on Saturday. An isolated shower is possible in the evening.

PUEBLO: High: 91; Low: 62. Hot and sunny for Saturday and likely staying dry.

CANON CITY: High: 90; Low: 62. A hot day with sunshine to start. A few spotty showers are possible in the afternoon.

WOODLAND PARK: High: 79; Low: 49. Staying warm on Saturday and mostly clear. A quick afternoon or evening shower is possible.

TRI-LAKES: High: 80s; Low: 50s. Mid 80s on Saturday with plenty of sun. An isolated shower is possible in the evening.

PLAINS: High: 80s/90s; Low: 50s/60s. Upper 80s and low 90s expected Saturday and the day will be dry and sunny.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 80s; Low: 50s. Upper 80s on Saturday with an isolated shower or thunderstorm possible in the evening.

Extended Outlook:
On Sunday there will be more energy for strong storms across the region after a cold front moves through tonight. These will be more widespread, from the mountains and into the I-25 corridor and a few making it to the plains. There is a risk for a couple of severe thunderstorms Sunday as well.
