Dry skies Sunday, with late night showers developing

Today’s Forecast:
There will be high clouds streaming across southern Colorado today, with dry conditions on the Plains. A few mountain snow showers are possible today. Winds will be light and temperatures will be near average.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 54; Low: 31. High clouds and mild today with light wind.

PUEBLO: High: 60; Low: 34. Dry and warm today with light winds.

CANON CITY: High: 57; Low: 34. Mild day ahead with passing clouds, snow on the peaks that dry out in the Upper Arkansas river valley.

WOODLAND PARK: High: 45; Low: 26. Chilly today, but with sunshine. A stray snow shower is possible this evening.

TRI-LAKES: High: 40s; Low: 20s. High clouds and cool weather today, with light wind.

PLAINS: High: 60s; Low: 30s. Warm this afternoon, with dry conditions and high clouds.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 50s; Low: 30s. Mid 50s expected today with high clouds.

Extended Outlook:
Monday will be similar to today temperature wise, but the weather becomes a bit more active. Spotty showers are possible in the region, staying as snow in the mountains with rain on the Plains. Even some lightning is possible. Tuesday will be the warmest day of next week, peaking in the 60s and 70s. Wednesday is also trending nice in terms of temperatures. The next cool down will be Thursday into Friday, with the next cold front.
