Summer weather continues this week with a weak cold front tonight

Tonight’s Forecast:
A cold front arrives tonight, which will allow Wednesday temperatures to return to normal for this time of year. Overnight temperatures won't drop much from the front, but the winds will shift to a northerly direction. Still expect a warm day tomorrow, just a few degrees cooler than today.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low - 55; High - 81. Tonight will be mostly clear, dropping to the mid 50s. Wednesday is trending mostly sunny and near average. High temperatures will be in the low 80s around the Springs. Beautiful day overall!

PUEBLO: Low - 59; High - 89. Overnight will be fairly mild, to the upper 50s. Tomorrow will be hot in Pueblo, but we will stay just shy of the 90s. The sky will be sunny and dry. Great day for the lake!

CANON CITY: Low - 59; High - 87. Tonight will be mild, to the upper 50s. Wednesday will be mostly sunny with a few clouds. Temperatures will be warm, but seasonable in the upper 80s. Enjoy the summer day!

WOODLAND PARK: Low - 49; High - 74. Cool and comfortable tonight with a clear sky and upper 40s. Tomorrow will be sligthly cooler, and very nice to the mid 70s. A few afternoon clouds with a spotty shower is possible, with minimal impacts to your day.

TRI-LAKES: Low - 50s; High - 70s. Tonight the wind shifts out of the north and a cold front takes temperatures down to the low 50s. Tomorrow will also be cooler, to the mid 70s. The sky should be mostly sunny on Wednesday.

PLAINS: Low - 60s; High - 80s. A break from the heat is in store tomorrow! The morning starts mild in the 60s and highs will be in the upper 80s. At least it's not more 90s, right? The sky will be clear tomorrow.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low - 50s; High - 80s. Tonight, temperatures will drop the to low to mid 50s. Tomorrow afternoon, expect low 80s in Walsenburg and mid 80s for Trinidad. A nice day overall with mostly clear and dry weather.

Extended Outlook:
Thursday will be another hot and dry day with temperatures climbing to the 80s and 90s. An isolated shower is possible Thursday, but they will be very limited in coverage and generally in the mountains. Then starting Friday, rain chances begin to increase through the weekend. Watch for scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon through Monday.
