On Wednesday, Meteorologist Alex O'Brien visited the 3rd graders at Steele Elementary in Colorado Springs. And she spoke with the 5th graders at Weikel Elementary in Fort Carson.
The students learned about how to be Storm Safe in Colorado's unique weather. They covered the types of severe weather, including tornadoes, thunderstorms, flooding, and winter weather. The learned about how hail works with a fun experiment. Also, they learned the weather dance!
