On Wednesday, Meteorologist Alex O'Brien met virtually with the 2nd graders in Mrs. Lacy's class from Spark Elementary.

The students learned about winter storms, thunderstorms, tornadoes, and flash floods. They also learned the weather dance, which includes 4 moves: sunshine, thunderstorm, BOOM lightning, and tornado!

After learning about how to stay safe during severe weather the students created their own 7-day forecast. The students are encouraged to observe the weather over the next week to see if their predictions are right!
