On Wednesday, Meteorologist Alex O'Brien met with students in southern Colorado to teach them how to be safe during severe weather.

First, she met with the 3rd graders at North Mesa Elementary in Pueblo. The students in Mrs. Lockett, Mrs. Giglio, and Mrs. Johnston's classes created their own forecast for the next 7 days.

Then, she spoke with the 3rd graders at Howbert Elementary in Mrs. Branford's and Ms. Walsh's classes. The students today were very enthusiastic to learn and share their own experiences.
