CANON CITY, Colo. — On Friday, Meteorologist Alex O'Brien visited Lincoln School of Science and Technology in Cañon City to talk about weather and how to be Storm Safe.
There they went through the types of severe weather, including tornadoes, thunderstorms, flooding, and winter weather. The 3rd and 5th graders all had great questions and loved the weather experiment. The kids had a lot of ideas about what to pack in a winter storm safety kit.
