On Wednesday, Meteorologist Alex O'Brien visited Mr. Glisson's 5th grade class at Keller Elementary as well as the 4th graders at Otero Elementary to talk about weather and how to be Storm Safe.
They went through the types of severe weather, including tornadoes, thunderstorms, flooding, and winter weather. They conducted a fun experiment to demonstrate how hail forms and stays suspended in a thunderstorm updraft. They also learned the weather dance.
