On Wednesday, Meteorologist Alex O'Brien met virtually with the 2nd graders at Ellicott Elementary today. She spoke with the students in Mrs. Cowan's, Mrs. Dwelle's, Ms. Matte's, and Ms. Liggett's classes.

The students were enthusiastic about where to take shelter in a tornado and they enjoyed learning the weather dance. The main focus of the presentation was about recognizing winter storms, thunderstorms, flooding, and tornadoes and then how to take action to be safe during that type of weather.
