PUEBLO: Low: 42; High: 72. A nice cool down on tap for our Thursday, with highs warming comfortably into the lower 70s. Areas of smoke and haze will once again be possible throughout the day.

TRI-LAKES: Low: 30s/40s; High: 60s. Hazy sunshine and cooler highs on Thursday across northern El Paso County. Even though it will be smoky at times, temperatures will be quite comfortable for this time of the year.

PLAINS: Low: 30s/40s; High: 60s/70s. Our forecast will turn more fall-like on Thursday, with comfortable highs for this time of the year. Unfortunately, wildfires burning in Colorado and Wyoming will keep smoke and haze in the area.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low: 30s/40s; High: 60s. Hazy skies, with areas of smoke in the forecast on Thursday. Highs will be about 10 degrees cooler, with afternoon temperatures only warming into the 60s.

Extended Outlook:
Highs will rebound by 8 to 12 degrees on Friday, and make for a nice end to the work week. A couple of cold fronts will then move into Southern Colorado late Friday night and Saturday, and set the stage for a more mild and comfortable weekend. Rain or snow is not expected through at least the next 7 days.
