Tonight’s Forecast:
Showers and thunderstorms are possible this evening until about sunset and overnight will be dry. Watch for heavy rain, lightning, and small hail. Temperatures will drop to the 40s, 50s, and 60s tonight. The air will still be humid, but drying out into tomorrow.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low - 53; High - 88. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will last at least through the evening commute. Overnight will be mostly clear, to the low 50s. Tomorrow will be hot and dry! Temperatures will climb quickly, already to the 80s by noon and reach highs in the upper 80s. The sky will stay mostly clear tomorrow.

PUEBLO: Low - 55; High - 95. Showers in Pueblo county will end this evening likely before sunset. Tonight will be mostly clear and drop to the mid 50s. Tuesday will be hot and dry, to the mid 90s, with a clear sky.

CANON CITY: Low - 56; High - 93. Tonight will be partly cloudy, dropping to the mid 50s overnight. The sky tomorrow will be sunny all day. Expect a hot afternoon Tuesday, climbing to the low 90s.

WOODLAND PARK: Low - 45; High - 79. Most rain shower activity is coming to an end this evening, and overnight will be mostly clear. Tomorrow will start chilly in the mid 40s, then warm up quickly to the upper 70s. Enjoy the warm and dry afternoon!

TRI-LAKES: Low - 50s; High - 80s. Showers and thunderstorms will end by sunset this evening, and we will be dry overnight. Tuesday will start in the 50s then warm to the low 80s. Tomorrow is looking mostly sunny and dry.

PLAINS: Low - 60s; High - 90s. Tonight, spotty showers and thunderstorms will end by around 9 pm. Watch for pockets of heavy rain and lightning. Any hail should remain small. Overnight will be mild to the 60s. Tomorrow will be hot and dry. Expect highs in the mid to upper 90s in the Plains tomorrow.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low - 40s/50s; High - 80s/90s. Overnight will be mostly clear, dropping to the upper 40s in Walsenburg and 50s in Trinidad. Tuesday will be much drier with increasing temperatures. Expect mid 80s in Walsenburg and low 90s in Trindad tomorrow with a sunny afternoon likely.

Extended Outlook:
In general, the trend this week will be warm, thanks to an area of High pressure moving in. High pressure tends to lead to sinking, stable air which is not conducive to rain. But, a few weak spots in this pattern will allow some thunderstorms possible in the afternoon hours starting Wednesday and increasing this weekend. Still, expect temperatures to be summer-like and above average.
