Several warm days ahead before major cool down

Tonight’s Forecast: Temperatures this evening will gradually cool, staying above freezing in the Plains to the front range. Mountain valleys may see another light freeze tonight. The sky stays clear this evening and winds will be light. Tomorrow we see a boost of temperatures in southern Colorado.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low - 37; High - 81. Very warm and well above average tomorrow, to the low 80s. The sky will be mostly sunny with a slight breeze.

PUEBLO: Low - 34; High - 86. Becoming quite warm tomorrow after a chilly morning. The sky will be sunny with light to breezy winds.

CANON CITY: Low - 38; High - 83. Very warm tomorrow, with sunshine. Winds will be breezy to gusty in the afternoon.

WOODLAND PARK: Low - 32; High - 73. Tomorrow we warm above average to the 70s, after a light morning freeze.. Winds will be gusty in the afternoon, up to 30 mph.

TRI-LAKES: Low - 30s; High - 70s. Upper 30s expected tonight. Tomorrow will warm up nicely, to the mid 70s. Winds will be breezy in the afternoon.

PLAINS: Low - 30s/40s; High - 80s. Dropping to the upper 30s and low 40s tonight. Tomorrow we warm up quite a bit, with low to mid 80s likely. The sky will be sunny and winds will be light.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low - 40s; High - 70s/80s. Expect low to mid 40s tonight, followed by a warm Tuesday. Highs tomorrow will be in the upper 70s in Walsenburg and low 80s in Trinidad.

Extended Outlook: Wednesday will be very warm once again, with the introduction of a fire weather watch for the mountains. Winds will be breezy and the air will be very dry in the foothills to central mountains. Our major cool down is still expected on Thursday and Friday.
