Today’s Forecast:
Very cold start, with sunshine helping to warm us up today. Temperatures for most of the region will be near average, except in the mountains, along and west of the continental divide, where snow and cooler weather remain. Winds will be light on the Plains and breezy in the foothills and mountain valleys.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 43; Low: 20. Light winds with high clouds. Temperatures slowly climb to near average.

PUEBLO: High: 44; Low: 18. Light winds and comfortable in the afternoon after a slow warm up.

CANON CITY: High: 45; Low: 24. Mild temperatures later, but the winds stay gusty lending to a wind chill in the 30s.

WOODLAND PARK: High: 38; Low: 13. Chilly today, staying in the 30s. Winds will be gusty this afternoon.

TRI-LAKES: High: 40s; Low: teens. Cool but comfortable later, with sunshine and light wind.

PLAINS: High: 40s; Low: 20s. Winds will be much lighter today and temperatures will peak in the mid 40s.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 40s; Low: 20s. Low to mid 40s today with sunshine and high clouds. Winds will be gusty this afternoon.

Extended Outlook:
Sunday will be very similar to this afternoon, with temperatures in the 40s and maybe some 50s in the Plains, and 30s in the mountains. But, most of the region will see winds return or stay gusty in the afternoon.
