Today’s Forecast: Thanks to a cold front last night, today's highs will be 5-10 degrees cooler than Friday. But most of southern Colorado will be slightly above average today. The sky will be sunny with breezy winds.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High - 77; Low - 44. Today will be sunny and comfortable. Late tonight a shower may impact El Paso county.

PUEBLO: High - 84; Low - 48. Sunny, dry and warm today! The winds will pick up slightly this afternoon.

CANON CITY: High - 82; Low - 50. Sunny today with a few clouds. Winds will be breezy this afternoon, but not as strong as Friday.

WOODLAND PARK: High - 70; Low - 38. Staying mostly sunny this afternoon and reaching a cool 70°. Tonight will be cold, dropping to the upper 30s.

TRI-LAKES: High - 70s; Low - 40s. Highs will be in the low 70s today under a sunny sky. Late tonight a shower may develop around midnight.

PLAINS: High - 80s; Low - 50s. Staying warm today to the upper 80s in the Plains. The sky will be sunny and winds will pick up a bit this afternoon.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High - 80s; Low - 40s. Low to mid 80s are likely today. Fire danger becomes elevated this afternoon with breezy dry weather. No red flag warning at this time.

Extended Outlook: Sunday starts chilly in southern Colorado then warms to seasonable highs in the 70s and 80s. Sunday will be sunny, breezy, and dry. Looking forward to next week, temperatures get a boost through mid-week. Then Thursday and Friday get a bit more active with a cold front, potentially bringing rain Thursday evening.
