Saturday cold front may impact weekend plans

Tonight’s Forecast: High clouds linger tonight, dropping to the 30s in the Plains, 20s and 30s for the mountain valleys. Winds will stay light this evening.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low: 39; High: 62. Warming quickly tomorrow to the low 60s by early afternoon. Then a cold front arrives mid-day, with light rain showers possible after 3 pm into the evening.

PUEBLO: Low: 34; High: 69. A fast warm up tomorrow, reaching a high by lunch. Late afternoon cold front arrives, with a chance of isolated rain showers after 5 pm.

CANON CITY: Low: 39; High: 68. Warming up through mid-day, then temperatures cool late afternoon with a cold front. Light, isolated rain showers are possible after 5 pm.

WOODLAND PARK: Low: 33; High: 56. A very nice start tomorrow, making it to the mid 50s. Mid-day a cold front arrives, and light snow showers are possible after 3 pm into the evening.

TRI-LAKES: Low: 30s; High: 50s. Warming quickly tomorrow to the upper 50s by early afternoon. Then a cold front arrives mid-day, with a light rain/snow mix possible after 3 pm into the evening.

PLAINS: Low: 30s; High: 60s/70s. A fast warm up tomorrow, reaching the upper 60s and low 70s. Late afternoon cold front arrives, with a chance of isolated rain showers after 4 pm.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low: 30s; High: 60s. Warming up through the afternoon to the mid to upper 60s, then temperatures cool late afternoon with a cold front. Light and very isolated rain showers are possible after 7 pm.

Extended Outlook: Sunday will be slightly cooler behind Saturday's front, but staying dry. The sun will be shining bright. Next week, several warm and sunny days are expected Monday and Tuesday. The next cool down comes mid-week, with a chance of snow showers.
