Tonight’s Forecast:

Colorado Springs tied the record today with a high of 94. Pueblo also tied their record high of 99, and we’re not done yet with the record heat this weekend! This evening, a few scattered rain showers will linger around Eastern El Paso County, Pikes Peak Massif, Wet Mountains and the Southern Sangre’s. Skies will gradually clear as dusk settles in and temperatures will fall into the upper 50s and lower 60s once again.

Extended Outlook:
Tuesday brings changes to the region as a cold front quickly drops in from the north and cools us off by about 10-15 degrees. As high pressure reestablishes itself on Wednesday, moisture returns to the state and with it, so too do the chances for afternoon showers and storms. By next weekend, another cold front will drop in and could not only drop our temperatures once again, but this time produce widespread showers for both Saturday and Sunday. Stay tuned!...
