Record breaking temperatures expected in Colorado

Today’s Forecast:
Perfect day to be outside to soak up the sun and warmth. Temperatures will be 20 degrees above average! Winds will be breezy today in southern Colorado.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 64; Low: 28. Awesome day ahead with sunshine!

PUEBLO: High: 70; Low: 26. Very warm this afternoon with breezy winds.

CANON CITY: High: 68; Low: 32. Wow, gorgeous day to be outside with sunshine and a bit of a breeze.

WOODLAND PARK: High: 55; Low: 30. Warming up big time today, with snow melt likely.

TRI-LAKES: High: 60s; Low: 30s. Low 60s likely for the Tri-lakes, with breezy winds from the northwest.

PLAINS: High: 60s/70s; Low: 20s. Expect a beautiful day in the upper 60s and low 70s.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 60s; Low: 20s/30s. Low to mid 60s for Walsenburg and Trinidad, respectively. Sunshine and a breeze!

Extended Outlook:
The warmth peaks on Sunday, with more 60s and 70s for the Plains, 50s and 60s in mountain valleys. Sunday is when record highs are possible to be tied or broken in Colorado Springs and Pueblo. Then a powerful cold front arrives Monday morning, with snow following behind. Snow will increase Monday night through Tuesday morning, then gradually taper off.
