Tonight's Forecast:
Winds shift out of the north after sunset along a cold front, and scattered showers follow behind. Precipitation will be mostly snow for the Palmer Divide, mountains and mountain valleys above 6,000 feet, as well as El Paso county. Areas lower in elevation and in the Plains with see either a wintry mix or rain. Accumulations should be light, with the heaviest snow piling up in Teller county and the Palmer Divide/Monument Hill areas.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low: 28 High: 52 Saturday starts cold with a few lingering snow showers. That clears up through the day.

PUEBLO: Low: 29 High: 60. Remaining breezy tomorrow with partly cloudy conditions.

CANON CITY: Low: 31 High: 59 Cooler tomorrow with precipitation ending. Winds stay breezy.

WOODLAND PARK: Low: 22 High: 43 Saturday will be cold to start, with snow showers ending in the late morning. Sun returns later in the afternoon.

TRI-LAKES: Low: 20s; High: 40s. Snow showers end Saturday morning, the sun comes out and that snow should melt.

PLAINS: Low: 20s/30s; High: 50s/60s. Lingering clouds and spotty rain by Saturday morning, clearing later with sunshine and mild temperatures.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low: 30s; High: 50s. Saturday will be cooler and breezy.

Extended Outlook:
Sunday is trending dry for the region, with temperatures seasonable or slightly below average. Monday a few passing rain showers in the Plains and snow in the mountains will bring minimal impacts. Temperatures rebound back to above average from Tuesday onward.
