Today’s Forecast:
Snow and rain are impacting southern Colorado today, with cold gusty conditions outside. With the wet and warm nature of this storm, the snow may not accumulate initially, which may lend on the lower side of forecast totals. Roads should be slushy today, becoming snowpacked under the more intense snowbands. Some areas will just see rain today.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 34; Low: 28. Wet heavy snow may accumulate from 3-5 inches on the grass. Snow possible off and on all day.

PUEBLO: High: 38; Low: 27. A wintry mix expected today, with accumulations only on the grass. Rain and even thunder possible within this storm.

CANON CITY: High: 37; Low: 32. Chilly today, with snow showers this morning and a wintry mix or rain this afternoon.

WOODLAND PARK: High: 34; Low: 26. Blustery today with light snow showers, totaling 1-3 inches.

TRI-LAKES: High: 30s; Low: 20s. Tri-lakes likely to see 2-4 inches of wet heavy snow today. Watch for reduced visibility on the roads.

PLAINS: High: 30s/40s; Low: 20s. A mix of rain and snow in the plains today, drive carefully on wet roads.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 40s; Low: 20s. Staying mild today, with most snow melting on contact with the ground. A good dose of moisture, mostly in the form of rain likely.

Extended Outlook:
The weekend is looking glorious, with 50s and 60s returning and dry sunny weather.
