Today’s Forecast:
Our forecast today will be windy in the mountains, and breezy to gusty for almost all other areas. Overall, it won't be as windy as what we saw Saturday, but mountain gusts could still reach 50 to 60 mph. Temperatures this afternoon will be quite comfortable for this time of the year, topping out in the 40s, 50s and 60s.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 57; Low: 32. Mild and breezy this afternoon, with wind gusts to 35 mph. The foothills will be windier than the Plains, but it won't be as bad as what we saw on Saturday.

PUEBLO: High: 62; Low: 27. Sunday morning's frigid temperatures will give way to a bright and mild afternoon. While it won't be as windy as yesterday, gusts this afternoon could reach 35 mph.

CANON CITY: High: 60; Low: 35. Mild and windy this afternoon for Fremont County, with peak gusts expected to range between 35-45 mph.

WOODLAND PARK: High: 47; Low: 28. Nice and pleasant temperature-wise today for Teller County, but once again super windy this afternoon, with gusts to 60 mph.

TRI-LAKES: High: 50s; Low: 20s. Mild highs and mostly sunny skies today across northern El Paso County. The afternoon hours will gusty, with peak wind gusts to 45 mph.

PLAINS: High: 50s/60s; Low: 20s/30s. Near critical fire weather conditions this afternoon across the Plains as it will be dry and gusty, especially across southeastern parts of the state.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 50s/60s; Low: 30s. Not as windy as Saturday, but still a breezy to gusty afternoon of weather on tap for Huerfano and Las Animas counties, with gusts ranging between 35-45 mph.

MOUNTAINS: High: 30s/40s; Low: 10s/20s. Dry today in our local mountains, but windy. Some of the strongest winds will be in the higher elevations, where gusts to 60 mph will be possible.

Extended Outlook:
A beautiful weather pattern sets up shop over Southern Colorado beginning on Monday. Highs will warm each day through Wednesday as dry skies will dominate the forecast. Temperatures through the middle of the week will warm into the 60s and 70s. By the end of the week, cooler weather moves back in along with our next chance for rain and snow as we head into the weekend.
