Tonight's Forecast:
Clear, calm and cold across Southern Colorado tonight. Overnight temperatures will drop down to the 10s and 20s east of the mountains, with 0s and negative lows possible in the coldest mountain valleys.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low: 27; High: 59. Mostly sunny skies and mild highs will make for a gorgeous mid-January afternoon in the Pikes Peak Region. A late night cold front will bring strong wind gusts Wednesday night and cooler highs by Thursday.

PUEBLO: Low: 18; High: 63. Light breezes, mild highs and plenty of sunshine for the day on Wednesday. Changes arrive late Wednesday night, with stronger winds for the overnight hours.

CANON CITY: Low: 29; High: 61. Unseasonably warm on Wednesday, with highs soaring into the lower 60s. The winds of change move in Wednesday night, setting the stage for a windy and cooler Thursday.

WOODLAND PARK: Low: 22; High: 52. Breezy and more mild than normal, with increasing clouds by Wednesday afternoon. A cold front will bring wind gusts up to 50 mph to Teller County by Wednesday night.

TRI-LAKES: Low: 20s; High: 50s. Wednesday will be a nice day across northern El Paso County, and the warmest of the week. Highs will be much colder by Thursday after a cold front blasts through the area.

PLAINS: Low: 10s/20s; High: 50s/60s. Mild, with mainly light breezes on Wednesday. A late night cold front will bring increasing winds to the Plains on Thursday, along with colder highs.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low: 20s; High: 50s. Mainly sunny skies and mild highs in our Wednesday forecast. Wednesday night will turn windy as a cold front barrels in from the north.

MOUNTAINS: Low: 0s/10s; High: 20s/30s. Wednesday will start out mostly sunny and cold, but our weather will turn mostly cloudy and windy as a cold front moves in Wednesday evening. Some light snow showers will be possible, especially the farther north in the state you travel.

Extended Outlook:
Late this week will be windy and much cooler. Highs Thursday and Friday will be about 10-15 degrees cooler than Wednesday's highs. A few areas could see some light snow flurries on Saturday, with a better chance for snow possible by early next week.
