Today’s Forecast: Bright skies and cold morning temperatures will give way to another nice and mild day on Sunday. Highs will be about 10 degrees above average today. Enjoy it, because big changes are expected next week.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 52; Low: 27. Nice and mild today, with increasing clouds for the afternoon and evening hours.

PUEBLO: High: 57; Low: 23. Mild temperatures and dry skies on Sunday. Lower 20s return tonight, with increasing clouds ahead of Monday's storm.

CANON CITY: High: 57; Low: 31. With highs in the upper 50s, today will be a great end to the weekend. Light southwest winds to 10 mph.

WOODLAND PARK: High: 47; Low: 25. A bright and mild afternoon will give way to increasing clouds and a slight chance of snow by late tonight, with better chances for snow on Monday.

TRI-LAKES: High: 50s; Low: 20s. We're in for a treat today in northern El Paso County as we'll see a nice and mild end to the weekend. Changes and snow move in tomorrow.

PLAINS: High: 50s; Low: 20s. Today's weather will be just as nice as yesterday, with just a couple of degrees of cooling in our forecast.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 50s; Low: 20s. Light winds, mild temperatures and partly cloudy skies will make for a gorgeous end to the weekend. Enjoy it!

Extended Outlook: Snow will increase over the mountains by Monday morning before spreading east into the Plains by the afternoon and evening hours. Monday's storm looks wetter than the previous few storms, which have mostly been wind-makers for Southern Colorado. Still though, only light amounts of precipitation are expected across the I-25 corridor. Biggest potential for more than an inch of snow will be Woodland Park, Palmer Divide, Raton Mesa and the mountains.

Dry skies return on Tuesday before the next round of wintry weather returns Wednesday afternoon. This storm looks colder, with light amounts of snow possible heading into Wednesday night. Dry and chilly weather on Thursday will turn sunny and mild as we head into next weekend.
