Extended Outlook: Snow will increase over the mountains by Monday morning before spreading east into the Plains by the afternoon and evening hours. Monday's storm looks wetter than the previous few storms, which have mostly been wind-makers for Southern Colorado. Still though, only light amounts of precipitation are expected across the I-25 corridor. Biggest potential for more than an inch of snow will be Woodland Park, Palmer Divide, Raton Mesa and the mountains.
Dry skies return on Tuesday before the next round of wintry weather returns Wednesday afternoon. This storm looks colder, with light amounts of snow possible heading into Wednesday night. Dry and chilly weather on Thursday will turn sunny and mild as we head into next weekend.
