Bear Creek Fire Forecast:
Focusing on the conditions at the Bear Creek Fire in western Colorado Springs, conditions will aid firefighters overnight. While the airdrops will have to stop when the sun goes down, mother nature will provide some assistance. Humidity will rise to 50-60% overnight then stay over 35% all day Friday. Friday will be cooler, with temperatures peaking in the 40s in the fire zone. Winds overnight will be less than 10 mph, becoming breezy from the southwest Friday from 10-15 mph. The higher humidity will be key in the efforts.

PLAINS: Low: 30s; High: 50s. Mid to upper 30s tonight and low to mid 50s tomorrow with clouds.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low: 30s; High: 50s. Mid 30s tonight and mid 50s tomorrow with partly cloudy conditions.

MOUNTAINS: Low: 20s/30s; High: 40s/50s. Upper 20s and low 30s tonight, mid 40s to low 50s Friday. Light snow showers possible Friday evening.
