Hot weather expected Wednesday with isolated thunder

Tonight’s Forecast: The eastern Plains are likely to see thunderstorms through tonight, ending by midnight. Although, some lingering rain showers and cloud cover is possible through the early morning in the eastern Plains.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low - 57; High - 86. A clear and warm start to the day, reaching the mid 80s in the early afternoon. A few clouds and an isolated thunderstorm are possible in the mid to late afternoon.

PUEBLO: Low - 59; High - 94. Expect a hot afternoon Wednesday with plenty of sunshine. Highs will be in the mid 90s. An isolated thunderstorm is possible in the late afternoon.

CANON CITY: Low - 60; High - 92. Tomorrow will be a warm one, starting in the low 60s and making it to the low 90s. A thunderstorm in the early afternoon is possible.

WOODLAND PARK: Low - 49; High - 78. Chilly tonight to the low 40s, with a very warm Wednesday expected to 78. An isolated thunderstorm is possible in the afternoon.

TRI-LAKES: Low - 50s; High - 80s. Expect to drop to the low 50s tonight, then warm to the low 80s tomorrow afternoon. Generally it will be a dry day, with an isolated thunderstorm possible.

PLAINS: Low - 50s/60s; High - 80s/90s. Tomorrow may be another interesting day for the Plains, with more thunderstorms possible and a chance of an isolated severe storm. Stay weather aware through the afternoon and evening. Before then, it will be a hot afternoon to the upper 80s and mid 90s.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low - 50s; High - 80s/90s. Walsenburg will warm to the upper 80s tomorrow and Trinidad will get into the low 90s. An isolated thunderstorm is possible in the afternoon.

Extended Outlook: Thursday is trending HOT for southern Colorado, near 10 degrees above average for some spots. The forecast is trending mostly dry through the end of the week.
