Hot and dry weather heading into the weekend

Tonight's Forecast:
A push of higher humidity will move into the plains tonight, bringing low stratus clouds and fog to start the day Friday all the way up to the I-25 corridor. The mountains will be clear and very dry Friday. The plains become sunny and hot after the morning clouds.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low: 60; High: 94. Scattered clouds in the morning, hot and dry in the afternoon.

PUEBLO: Low: 64; High: 101. A few morning clouds, with sunshine in the afternoon, remaining hot and dry.

CANON CITY: Low: 65; High: 99. Hot, very dry, and breezy tomorrow, with wind gusts up to 25 mph.

WOODLAND PARK: Low: 52; High: 86. Very warm and dry tomorrow with lots of sunshine.

TRI-LAKES: Low: 50s; High: 80s. Hot and sunny in the afternoon to the mid to upper 80s, with a slight breeze.

PLAINS: Low: 60s; High: 90s. East of the El Paso and Pueblo county line, morning clouds will linger a little longer, keeping highs out of the 100's in the eastern plains.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low: 60s; High: 90s. Hot to the mid 90s and very dry tomorrow with breezy winds.

Extended Outlook:
This weekend will be very similar with heat and mostly dry conditions. On Sunday a few spotty showers and thunderstorms are possible, but will be limited in moisture.
