Clouds and flurries are possible along I-25 and the front range mountains this evening, with minimal accumulation if at all. The sky will be clear by midnight and temperatures will drop to the teens and twenties in the Plains, single digits in the mountains.
COLORADO SPRINGS: Low: 16; High: 51. Friday will be sunny and above average.
PUEBLO: Low: 14; High: 55. Sunny and quite mild on Friday.
CANON CITY: Low: 18; High: 55. Cold start, but temperatures rebound quickly tomorrow under a sunny sky.
WOODLAND PARK: Low: 9; High: 42. Sunshine and beginning to thaw out in the afternoon.
TRI-LAKES: Low: teens; High: 40s. Cold and clear in the morning, sunny and mid 40s in the afternoon.
PLAINS: Low: teens/20s; High: 50s. Upper teens and low 20s tonight, followed by a Friday in the mid 50s.
WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low: teens; High: 40s/50s. A warming trend begins tomorrow afternoon, to the upper 40s in Walsenburg and low 50s for Trinidad.
Extended Outlook:
The weekend ahead is trending about 20 degrees above average, to the 50s and 60s in our region. It will be a perfect few days to be outside before the next big cool down. Temperatures will plummet by Monday and Tuesday, back to the 20s and 30s. Snow is looking likely Monday afternoon through Tuesday afternoon.
