Friday cold front cools temperatures and brings more rain potential

Tonight's Forecast:
Clouds clear out for the most part overnight, but return again Friday with an incoming cold front. Tonight temperatures will be mild, staying above freezing in the Plains.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low: 38; High: 57. Breezy cold front arrives early Friday morning, leaving the area cooler with a chance for showers all day.

PUEBLO: Low: 40; High: 64. Partly cloudy and breezy, with a chance of showers and thunderstorms Friday afternoon.

CANON CITY: Low: 40; High: 63. Partly cloudy and mild Friday. Low chance of showers.

WOODLAND PARK: Low: 30; High: 47. Breezy and cool on Friday with a chance of a rain/snow mix.

TRI-LAKES: Low: 30s; High: 40s. Cool and breezy Friday with showers possible.

PLAINS: Low: 40; High: 60s. Mild on Friday, but cooler with a breezy cold front. Isolated thunderstorms possible.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low: 30s; High: 50s/60s. Upper 30s tonight, upper 50s to low 60s tomorrow. Staying mostly dry with a low chance for showers.

Extended Outlook:
After Friday's brief "cool down", temperatures will begin to rise into the weekend. The trend in the extended forecast is dry and WARM through next week. Temperatures will be climbing to the 70s and 80s next week.
