CANON CITY: Low: 27; High: 55. Dry skies and light winds expected Thursday. The afternoon will be cool with sunshine.
WOODLAND PARK: Low: 21; High: 50. A cold start, with mostly clear conditions. Temperatures look to warm into the low 50s for mountain valleys.
TRI-LAKES: Low: 20s; High: 50s. A chilly start to your Thursday. The afternoon hours will be cool, hovering near 50 for the high.
PLAINS: Low: 20s; High: 50s/60s. A cold start on Thursday with a few clouds. It will give way to a mild and sunny afternoon.
WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low: 20s/30s; High: 50s. Mostly sunny and dry Thursday, with highs in the 50s.
Extended Outlook: After Thursday's brief cool down, temperatures will warm by more than a dozen degrees to close out the week. Friday's weather will be fantastic, with highs soaring into the 60s and very low 70s. Our next storm moves in this weekend, with a mix of rain and snow from Saturday afternoon through early Sunday morning. Amounts don't look that impressive in the Plains as this system appears to be a quick-hitter, but with shovelable snow in the mountains.
