Tonight’s Forecast: Tonight will be chilly and calm, with most of southern Colorado dropping to the 20s by Thursday morning. Some early morning clouds are possible Thursday in the Plains and front range, clearing quickly through late morning.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low: 26; High: 50. Chilly in the morning, with a few clouds. The afternoon hours will be cool with sunshine.

PUEBLO: Low: 25; High: 55. Wear your jacket in the morning as you head out the door. Morning clouds are possible, followed by a sunny afternoon.

CANON CITY: Low: 27; High: 55. Dry skies and light winds expected Thursday. The afternoon will be cool with sunshine.

WOODLAND PARK: Low: 21; High: 50. A cold start, with mostly clear conditions. Temperatures look to warm into the low 50s for mountain valleys.

TRI-LAKES: Low: 20s; High: 50s. A chilly start to your Thursday. The afternoon hours will be cool, hovering near 50 for the high.

PLAINS: Low: 20s; High: 50s/60s. A cold start on Thursday with a few clouds. It will give way to a mild and sunny afternoon.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low: 20s/30s; High: 50s. Mostly sunny and dry Thursday, with highs in the 50s.

Extended Outlook: After Thursday's brief cool down, temperatures will warm by more than a dozen degrees to close out the week. Friday's weather will be fantastic, with highs soaring into the 60s and very low 70s. Our next storm moves in this weekend, with a mix of rain and snow from Saturday afternoon through early Sunday morning. Amounts don't look that impressive in the Plains as this system appears to be a quick-hitter, but with shovelable snow in the mountains.
