Extended Outlook:
Friday and Saturday bring the next batch of winter weather to our area. Friday morning we start to see snow moving in from the south, impacting the San Juans and the southern Sangres through Trinidad. We will also see rain for the southeast Plains, transitioning to freezing rain and eventually snow overnight. The storm expands northeast and light snow will start Friday late afternoon for the I-25 corridor. Air will wrap around the north side of the storm and push against the front range on Saturday, lending to higher impacts for the I-25 corridor, El Paso and Pueblo counties and the northern plains through the day.
