This evening will be clear and COLD, dropping to the teens for most of southern Colorado. Winds will be breezy, gusting 20-30 mph overnight.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low: 10; High: 49. Cold and breezy to start, becoming seasonable Thursday afternoon.

PUEBLO: Low: 13; High: 52. Cold tomorrow morning with a sunny and mild afternoon.

CANON CITY: Low: 16; High: 50. Cold and breezy to start and mild in the afternoon with sunshine Thursday.

WOODLAND PARK: Low: 4; High: 40. Frigid overnight and breezy Thursday, with a more comfortable afternoon.

TRI-LAKES: Low: single digits; High: 40s. Very cold tonight, breezy on Thursday with highs in the low to mid 40s.

PLAINS: Low: teens; High: 40s/50s. Very cold tonight and remaining breezy at times. Upper 40s and low 50s Thursday with sunshine.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low: teens; High: 40s. Very cold and breezy tonight. Upper 40s with sunshine tomorrow.

MOUNTAINS: Low: single digits; High: 20s/30s. Frigid and breezy tonight, with a chilly and breezy Thursday in store.

Extended Outlook:
For Christmas day, temperatures will be 5-10 degrees warmer than Thursday's highs. The sky will remain sunny with mild temperatures through Saturday. Temperatures then cool Sunday through early next week. The next powerful cold front with snow potential comes Monday into Tuesday.
