Cold November Sunday with snow moving into the mountains

Today’s Forecast:
This afternoon will be chilly on the plains with high clouds. Snow moves into the mountains this afternoon and multiple days of snow are expected. In our region, the Sangre De Cristos above 10,000-11,000 feet will be under a winter weather advisory from 11 am Sunday to 5 pm Tuesday.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 43; Low: 30. Chilly day with high clouds and light wind.

PUEBLO: High: 46; Low: 29. Chilly today with sunshine and cirrus clouds.

CANON CITY: High: 45; Low: 34. Chilly today with a breeze later in the evening.

WOODLAND PARK: High: 43; Low: 27. Today will be sunny with high clouds and cool.

TRI-LAKES: High: 40s; Low: 20s. Low 40s today and Upper 20s tonight. Today will be cool and sunny.

PLAINS: High: 40s/50s; Low: 30s. Upper 40s and low 50s today with sunshine and high clouds. Low 30s tonight.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 50s; Low: 20s. Low 50s with sun and high clouds today. Upper 20s tonight.

MOUNTAINS: High: 40s/50s; Low: 20s/30s. Upper 40s for high terrain and low 50s in mountain valleys. Snow showers move in this evening. Winter weather advisory for the Sangre De Cristos above 11,000 feet.

Extended Outlook:
On Monday we see a boost of heat to the 50s and 60s. Then a cold front moves in Monday night and brings more snow to the mountains and a mix of rain and snow to the plains. Many spots in the plains will transition to snow by Tuesday morning. The Pikes Peak region looks to see a couple of inches of snow from this system.
