Tonight's Forecast: Light precipitation lingering across the region will clear out this evening, but wet roads have the potential to freeze overnight. Temperatures drop to the teens and 20s with a few clouds Friday morning.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low: 22; High: 46. Clouds gradually clear out Friday, temperatures stay cool but the sun will be a warm welcome.

PUEBLO: Low: 20; High: 50. Very cold start, warming quickly to a mild and sunny afternoon.

CANON CITY: Low: 28; High: 48. Chilly with a few clouds in the morning and a cool afternoon.

WOODLAND PARK: Low: 18; High: 44. A very cold start in the teens, followed by sunshine and cool afternoon temperatures.

TRI-LAKES: Low: teens/20s; High: 40s. Watch for icy spots on the roads in the morning. Sunshine and cool temperatures in the low 40s in the afternoon.

PLAINS: Low: 20s; High: 40s/50s. Cold in the 20s tonight, becoming dry and sunny Friday afternoon. Highs in the upper 40s or low 50s.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low: 20s; High: 40s. Cold tonight with a few clouds, tomorrow will be sunny and reach the mid 40s.

Extended Outlook: High pressure dominates the weekend pattern, with temperatures rising about 10 degrees above average. The weekend will be breezy and dry. Then Sunday night the next cold front arrives, bringing light precipitation to the front range Monday morning.
