COLORADO SPRINGS: Low: 19; High: 48. Chilly morning temperatures will warm quickly thanks to a lot of sunshine and some breezy northwest winds coming off the lee side of the mountains.

PUEBLO: Low: 18; High: 53. Sunny and breezy on Thursday, with highs climbing back into the 50s. North winds 10-15 mph.

CANON CITY: Low: 21; High: 53. A nice warming trend begins on Thursday, with highs warming into the lower 50s. Northwest winds 10-15 mph.

PLAINS: Low: 10s/20s; High: 50s. A gorgeous day is on tap for our Thursday, with plenty of sunshine and highs warming well into the 50s. North winds 10-20 mph.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low: 10s/20s; High: 40s/50s. Although it will be breezy at times during the day, sunshine and mild temperatures will make for a good looking Thursday forecast.

Extended Outlook: A ridge of high pressure will continue to build over Colorado through Saturday, with highs climbing each day heading into the weekend. Highs on Saturday will warm into the 60s across most of Southern Colorado. It will remain fairly mild on Sunday out ahead of our next storm, which looks to bring a light rain/snow mix to the area Sunday night and Monday.
