Breezy cold front leaves Sunday cooler in southern Colorado

Today’s Forecast: It will be cooler today after a cold front blew through southern Colorado Saturday night. The sky will still remain sunny, but the winds will become breezy again this afternoon, especially in the mountains and along the front range.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 42; Low: 23. Lots of sun today, but breezy with wind gusts up to 30-35 mph.

PUEBLO: High: 48; Low: 22. Near average temperatures, with breezy winds up to 30 mph.

CANON CITY: High: 49; Low: 32. Cooler today, with sunshine and breezy winds.

WOODLAND PARK: High: 40; Low: 15. Winds will gust this afternoon up to 35-40 mph. Temperatures will be cool.

TRI-LAKES: High: 40s; Low: teens. Low 40s expected today with gusty winds in the afternoon.

PLAINS: High: 40s/50; Low: 20s. Not as windy in the Plains, but gusts up to 20 mph are possible. Temperatures will reach the upper 40s and low 50s.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 40s; Low: 20s. Mid to upper 40s today with gusty winds up to 35 mph.

Extended Outlook:
Monday will feel similar to today, with gusty winds and temperatures near average. The winds calm down and temperatures climb back to the 50s in the Plains on Tuesday and Wednesday. Then the next cold front takes temperatures back to the 30s and 40s Thursday and Friday, with a low chance of snow.
