Beautiful start to the weekend with a frigid ending

Tonight's Forecast:
The clouds will move out overnight, bringing a sunny start to Saturday. Tonight will be quite mild, with many areas staying above freezing, from the mountain valleys to the Plains.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low: 39; High: 70. Mostly sunny and very warm Saturday.

PUEBLO: Low: 36; High: 76. A sunny and warm Saturday ahead.

CANON CITY: Low: 40; High: 75. Mostly sunny and very warm tomorrow.

WOODLAND PARK: Low: 32; High: 62. Very mild tomorrow with partly cloudy conditions.

TRI-LAKES: Low: 30s; High: 60s. Low to mid 60s tomorrow with partly cloudy conditions.

PLAINS: Low: 40s; High: 70s. Very warm tomorrow, near 80 for most of the eastern Plains.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low: 30s; High: 70s. Low 70s tomorrow with mostly sunny conditions.

Extended Outlook:
Late Saturday night a powerful cold front arrives from the north and sweeps through southern Colorado. This will leave Easter Sunday in the 30s and 40s for highs, with a chance of snow showers. Snow will be heaviest for Teller county and the Palmer Divide/Monument Hill areas, as well as the Wet mountains and Sangre De Cristos, where a couple inches are possible. Teller county has the potential to see as high as 6 inch totals. Elsewhere, totals will be less than an inch or two.
