The day starts sunny with very warm temperatures once again. Later this afternoon, clouds increase and the chance for spotty showers comes for the evening. The Plains will see isolated showers, with possible lightning. The monutains, especially over 7,500 feet may see light snow showers.
COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 64; Low: 33. Gorgeous day once again to be outdoors. Rain is possible from 6-10 pm.
PUEBLO: High: 72; Low: 35. A nice and warm day, with breezy winds. Rain chances are low and any activity will be spotty.
CANON CITY: High: 69; Low: 35. Mild and breezy today, with a chance of rain from 3-7 pm.
WOODLAND PARK: High: 53; Low: 27. Great day with a breeze. A wintry mix is possible from 5-9 pm.
TRI-LAKES: High: 50s; Low: 30s. Mild again, but staying just under 60 degrees. Rain is possible from 6-10 pm.
PLAINS: High: 70s; Low: 30s. Gorgeous day in the 70s with breezy winds. Spotty showers and thunderstorms are possible after 3 pm.
WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 60s/70s; Low: 30s. Breezy and mild today, to the upper 60s in Walsenburg and low 70s in Trinidad. A spotty shower is possible this afternoon.
Extended Outlook:
A cold front tonight will leave Monday a bit cooler, with high temperatures dropping about 5-10 degrees from Sunday. But, the pattern overall next week looks mild and mostly dry. Temperatures will stay in the 50s and 60s in the low elevations, to the 50s for mountain valleys. The next system we are watching for Friday is trending colder, and looks to be mostly snow for the region.
