Today’s Forecast:
Very high fire danger this afternoon, with a Red Flag Warning posted area-wide from noon until 8 pm. Do your part by not burning anything today and avoid causing any sparks outdoors. Temperatures will be summer-like, in the 70s, 80s and 90s.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 80; Low: 48. Very warm today and breezy, gusting up to 30 mph.

PUEBLO: High: 89; Low: 54. Hot today with dry weather. Winds will be gusting up to 35 mph.

CANON CITY: High: 86; Low: 51. Very warm and dry today with breezy winds.

WOODLAND PARK: High: 71; Low: 38. Above average temperatures today with gusty winds up to 40 mph.

TRI-LAKES: High: 70s; Low: 40s. Low 70s today with very low humidity and gusty winds.

PLAINS: High: 90s; Low: 50s. Hot today and dry in the afternoon. Winds will be gusting 30-40 mph.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 80s; Low: 40s/50s. Critical fire danger with highs in the mid to upper 80s and gusty winds.

Extended Outlook:
A cold front moves in tonight which cools temperatures Sunday by at least 10 degrees and adds in much needed humidity. Thunderstorms likely along the front range and Plains Sunday evening, with rain showers expanding into Monday. In the mountains, a mix of rain and snow increases Sunday night into Monday.
