Today’s Forecast: Highs today will be much warmer than yesterday, with a good 4 to 8 degrees of warming expected across Southern Colorado. The wind will be light across the region, around 10 to 15 mph.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 46; Low: 18. With plenty of sunshine in today's forecast, highs will be a little above average for this time of the year.

PUEBLO: High: 50; Low: 14. After a cold morning, daytime highs today will be nice and mild, warming into the lower 50s.

CANON CITY: High: 51; Low: 24. It will be a beautiful end to the weekend. Light wind, blue skies and highs in the lower 50s.

WOODLAND PARK: High: 43; Low: 16. Great weather today, with a nice and pleasant but chilly end to the weekend across the Teller County high country.

TRI-LAKES: High: 40s; Low: 10s/20s. Light wind, bright skies and warmer temperatures will make for a great end to the weekend over northern El Paso County. Enjoy!

PLAINS: High: 40s/50s; Low: 10s. Cold this morning, but the big story today will be the warm-up. Highs this afternoon will climb into the upper 40s and lower 50s.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 40s/50s; Low: 10s/20s. Sunny skies and light wind, with temperatures today warming into the 40s and low 50s.

Extended Outlook: Dry skies will continue through early next week, with temperatures moderating each day through Tuesday. A storm system coming out of the Pacific NW will spread snow into the mountains from Tuesday afternoon through Thursday, with small chances for snow or a rain/snow mix east of the mountains from Wednesday night into Thursday morning. This system will also bring wind and colder temperatures to Southern Colorado late next week.
